<title>DESCRIPTION</title>
<para>The <function>DtMmdbSectionGetData</function> function
returns the data for the specified section. Do not use the
<function>free</function> function on the returned pointer. Table lookup is
involved if the section identifier is specified by the
<symbol role="Variable">locator_ptr</symbol> field.

either the section's Database Engine identifier (in the

field). If both of these fields have a value,
<function>DtMmdbSectionGetData</function> ignores the
<symbol role="Variable">locator_ptr</symbol> value.
